Environmental Portraits
I was privileged to get involved with Rugby School’s 450th Anniversary of the founding of the School and Rugby Estate in Blomsbury, London. I was commissioned to take iconic portraits of some 30 traders of Lamb’s Conduit, Rugby and Great Ormond Street for the celebration and the accompanying booklet.

I create fashion photography, producing dynamic studio images that highlight jewellery, clothing, and models. Working with a variety of backdrops and lighting modifiers, I shape each shoot to enhance form, texture, and style.

Corporate Event
I’ve spent over 15 years photographing a wide range of corporate and professional events, from conferences, exhibitions, and awards ceremonies to gala dinners, workshops, product launches, and evening functions.
I’ve been the official photographer for The Business Show, Going Global, Business Start Up, and B2B Marketing Expo, covering events at Olympia and ExCeL London, as well as The Best You Expo. I’ve also worked as a preferred supplier for Digital Catapult London, capturing the innovative events hosted at their centre.
More recently, I’ve been photographing Wonderwool Wales for over five years, along with the Family Day and other events at The Courtyard Hereford. My clients also include The Airline Retail Conference Europe, NMiTE Hereford, Taurus Healthcare, and a range of smaller organisations.
I’m cover London, Birmingham, Hereford, and the West Midlands, but I’m always happy to travel further afield for the right project. I love capturing moments that tell a story, and I always aim to deliver images that make a real impact.

My professional path into photography began with a personal one: documenting my own family. What started as an obsession with freezing every detail of my children’s life has evolved into a diverse career. Today, my own children are teenagers, and my perspective has shifted from capturing ‘firsts’ to photographing genuine connections, personality, and the special moments that make each family unique, creating images that will be treasured for years to come.

I have a wide portfolio of photographing beautiful celebrations: from an intimate Town Hall ceremony in Islington where I was asked to be the witness, to a Gala Ball for over 500 guests to celebrate Rugby School’s 450th Anniversary; from a street party on Lamb’s Conduit Street in London to an exclusive Gala Awards Dinner at the Banking Hall for The Best You Awards. It was my pleasure to photographer NMiTE’s Inauguration at Hereford Cathedral back in 2018, The Proclamation of King Charles III ceremony in Hereford in 2022 and the Service of Hope held at Hereford Cathedral for the memory of Hannah Tarplee and to commemorate the 20 year anniversary of the Little Princess Trust in 2025.

This year, 2017, Rugby School has been celebrating its 450th Anniversary since its founding in 1567, and we have commissioned Gabriella Karney to work as our official photographer for many of these events. I worked with Hereford based Feral Productions and Rural Media on a number of their projects as a unit photographer to capture high-quality still images on film sets for marketing, advertising, and publicity purposes.
